This page is dedicated the the pairing of Ash/Satoshi and Gary/Shigeru.

About the title/name "Palletshipping":
I'm guessing this shipping name came about due to the fact that Ash and Gary are the only trainers in the anime known to be from Pallet Town. There were two other trainers... but to my knowlege, we never saw them, and know nothing about them; other than the fact that they started with a Bulbasaur and a Charmander.
Other Names:
*Shishi - this is a Japanese version of reffering to the pairing. Likely resulting from the 'shi' in both characters Japanese names "Shigeru" and "Satoshi".
*GaryAsh, Gary/Ash, GaryXAsh, Gary X Ash - these are probably the most easily understood pairing tag.
*ShigeSato - a common way of writing a pairing name is by taking the first few letters of each of the characters names and putting them together. In this case it's the first five of Shigeru's name, and the first four of Satoshi.

A lot could and has been said about this pairing. I myself may update this page with an 'essay' about it (or something relating to it) someday.
